The figure includes a list of genes upregulated (left) or downregulated (right) in several gene sets associated with models of inflammation by interferon gamma (IFNG; p value = 0, FDR = 0, enrichment score = 0.78), lipopolysaccharide (LPS; p value = 0, FDR = 0, enrichment score = 0.84) and tumor necrosis factor (TNF; p value = 0, FDR = 0, enrichment score = 0.83). Genes upregulated by IFNG, LPS and TNF are also upregulated by glutamate with the highest enrichment score, p value and FDR (see Additional file 8: Table S5 and Additional file 9: Table S9 for more detail)
