From: Young blood plasma reduces Alzheimer’s disease-like brain pathologies and ameliorates cognitive impairment in 3×Tg-AD mice

Study design. Female 3×Tg-AD mice were intravenously injected with 150 μl young plasma from 2- to 3-month-old C57BL/6 J mice (1:1 mixed from male and female) twice a week for 8 weeks. Behavioral tests including open field (OF), novel object recognition (NOR), Morris water maze (MWM), and reversal Morris water maze (rMWM) were carried out after the 9th plasma injection. All mice were sacrificed 24 h after the final injection; n = 10 for young plasma treatment, n = 11 for vehicle control (saline)
