Group comparison of cortical thickness and cortical mean diffusivity between participants with mild PPA and healthy controls. Statistically significant results between participants with mild PPA (as defined by a global CDR® plus NACC FTLD score of 0.5; 20 nfvPPA, 6 svPPA, and 9 lvPPA) and healthy controls for cortical thickness (A) and cortical mean diffusivity (B). Cortical thickness analyses were adjusted for age, sex, handedness, and MRI scan. Cortical mean diffusivity analyses were adjusted for age, sex, and handedness after a harmonization step. Only effect sizes (Cohen’s d) inside clusters that survived family-wise error correction (P<.001) are shown.
