The effects of psycho-affective states or traits (stress, depression, anxiety, neuroticism) on mental health and well-being in aging populations and risks for dementia. Meditation training might help reduce these adverse psycho-affective states or traits, and thereby improve sleep, cognition, and mental health and well-being in aging and reduce the risk, or delay the onset, of Alzheimer’s disease
