The effect of sample dilution on quantification of amyloid-β (Aβ1–42) in plasma. Pooled ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid plasma spiked with 60 pg/ml of Aβ1–42 peptide (a) and pooled samples from subjects treated with LY2886721 (b) were initially diluted twofold, followed by serial dilutions with sample diluent or immunodepleted human plasma (IHP). Dilutional linearity was observed using both types of diluent, ranging from 91% to 115% with sample diluent buffer (from 2- to 128-fold dilution) and from 89% to 120% with IHP (from 2- to 64-fold dilution)
